Intake of the experimental animals was evaluated using the gastric contents of the mice after oral administration of a control vehicle (DMSO), with or without the treatment with Nexium. The results showed that the amount of the gut contents was not significantly increased after the experimental treatment in the control group. The results suggested that the gut contents of the animals in the experimental groups were not significantly increased, and the amounts of the gut contents in the control groups were not significantly different. The effect of the experimental animals on the production of appetite was also investigated.
